Silvio Pascucci

A short Curriculum vitae:

· 1953 Graduated in Veterinary Medicine with full marks in the University of Bologna (Italy);

· 1954-1955 Voluntary Assistant in the Veterinary Medical Clinic of Bologna;

· 1956-1992 Graduate training at Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale della Lombardia e dell’Emilia, Brescia (Italy) up to 11th level. Director of the Diagnostic Laboratory of Forlì of the Institute since 1 January 1956 to 1 September 1992;

· 1979-1985 President of Italian Society of Avian Pathology;

· 1971 Professor (Fully Established University Lecturer) in Avian Pathology in the Bologna University;

· 1990-1992 Member of the European Commission for avian pathology;

· Over 90 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals or proceedings and five book chapters.
