Novissime is the big egg producer that grants
  • careful selection of the poultry races even in relation to the characteristics of the proposed products

  • strictly controlled and product-oriented diet

  • strict periodical controls of the healthy and hygienic conditions of farms and the compliance with the laws ruling the feed formula
Novissime has studied and developed the HACCP program according to the provisions of the L.D. n.155 of 26/05/97 implementing the EC-Directive 93/43 of the World Health Organisation and the FAO's Codex Alimentarius.
This plan consists in a systemic and analytical planning and registration of all those actions aiming at making the final product "acceptable" in terms of consumer's safety. This means eliminating those risks deriving from dangers of biological, chemical and physical nature innate in the grading, packaging and distribution phases of eggs supplied by the associated Farms belonging to the Co-operative.
Analyses are conducted in the laboratory of Novissime or by independent labs. Checks include analyses in the farms and random sampling at the beginning of the processing.
  • Thorough grading and checks, especially in terms of yolk coloration, with absorbance values within the limits fixed by Novissime for any product variety
